This half-shaft oil seal is specially designed for bus and coach chassis systems. It is installed at the connection position of the vehicle half shaft and axle housing. Its core function is to tightly seal the internal lubricating oil of the axle assembly, prevent lubricating oil leakage, and avoid dry friction and wear of half shaft bearings and gears caused by oil shortage. Meanwhile, it can effectively block external dust, sediment, rainwater and other impurities from entering the axle interior, protecting the internal transmission parts and extending the service life of bus chassis components.

Firstly, the oil seal adopts high-quality composite rubber and metal skeleton integrated molding process, with good structural stability and not easy to deform or crack. Secondly, it has excellent high-temperature resistance, which can adapt to the high-temperature working environment of bus chassis during long-distance driving without aging or failure. Thirdly, the product has super wear resistance, can resist long-term friction and vibration during vehicle operation, and maintains stable sealing performance for a long time. In addition, it features high sealing tightness, strong fit, universal applicability for most bus models, and complete mainstream size specifications to meet various replacement and maintenance needs.
Compared with ordinary oil seals, this series of half-shaft oil seals has upgraded high-temperature and wear-resistant materials, solving the common problems of traditional oil seals such as easy aging, oil leakage and short service life under high-load and high-temperature working conditions. The integrated metal skeleton enhances the support strength of the oil seal, avoiding loosening and falling off. The precise size design ensures perfect fitting with the original car parts, realizing quick installation and no modification required. With universal bus compatibility, multiple sizes in stock and reliable quality, it can effectively reduce vehicle maintenance frequency and later use cost, being a cost-effective replacement spare part for bus maintenance.

1. Park the bus on a flat ground, turn off the engine, wait for the chassis parts to cool down completely, and fix the vehicle with a brake to ensure safe construction.
2. Remove the tires and half-shaft accessories on the side to be maintained, clean the installation groove of the axle housing, and completely remove residual old oil seals, dirt and waste lubricating oil.
3. Check the new oil seal for damage, deformation or defective glue surface, and apply a proper amount of clean lubricating oil on the outer ring and sealing lip of the oil seal.
4. Align the new half-shaft oil seal with the installation groove vertically, press it evenly and slowly into the groove with a professional tool, and ensure the oil seal is installed flat and in place without skew or depression.
5. Reinstall the disassembled half-shaft parts and tires in the original order, inject qualified lubricating oil into the axle housing, and check for assembly looseness.
6. Start the vehicle for idle running test, and observe the oil seal installation position for oil leakage to confirm normal installation.
Installation & Usage Notes
1. It is forbidden to install the oil seal when the chassis is overheated, so as to avoid scalding construction personnel and preventing the high-temperature rubber from softening and affecting installation accuracy.
2. Do not use hard tools such as hammers to knock the oil seal violently during installation, so as to prevent damaging the oil seal rubber lip and metal skeleton and causing seal failure.
3. The installation groove must be kept clean and free of impurities. Residual sand and iron scraps will wear the new oil seal and cause early oil leakage.
4. Ensure the oil seal is installed horizontally and in place. Skewed installation will lead to uneven stress and rapid wear of the sealing surface.
5. It is necessary to select the oil seal with matching size strictly according to the bus model and axle parameters. Mismatched sizes will cause poor fitting and oil leakage.
6. After installation, do not drive the vehicle at high speed or with full load immediately. Run in at idle speed for 5-10 minutes to ensure stable sealing performance.
7. Regularly check the oil seal working condition during daily vehicle maintenance, and replace the aging and worn oil seal in time to avoid affecting the normal use of the bus chassis.
