The TEJ-SDCGQ speed sensor is a dedicated sensing accessory for TERCA bus retarder systems. It is professionally installed on bus retarder assemblies to accurately collect real-time rotational speed and vehicle speed signals. The sensor transmits stable speed data to the retarder controller, which intelligently adjusts the working state of the bus retarder according to the speed changes. It ensures precise and stable braking of the bus during driving, effectively avoiding braking failure and safety hazards caused by abnormal speed signal loss, and greatly improves the overall driving safety and braking stability of passenger buses.

This TERCA retarder speed sensor adopts high-strength metal threaded shell, with excellent wear resistance and compression resistance, adapting to long-term friction and vibration working conditions of bus retarders. Equipped with integrated high-quality PVC wiring harness and professional waterproof connector, it has outstanding waterproof, dustproof and anti-corrosion performance, suitable for complex and harsh under-vehicle working environments. The product supports 12-24V wide voltage working range, compatible with most bus electrical systems. It features sensitive signal induction, stable data output, no signal delay or disorder, and retains original factory standard size, realizing perfect matching with original vehicle equipment.
1. High wear-resistant performance: The metal sensing body is durable, effectively reducing wear failure caused by long-term operation and extending service life.
2. High precision signal detection: Sensitive induction core, accurate speed data collection, ensuring the retarder works synchronously and accurately.
3. Strong environmental adaptability: Anti-vibration, anti-corrosion, waterproof and dustproof, stable operation in high and low temperature environments, low failure rate.
4. Plug-and-play installation: Standard original vehicle specification, no modification required, convenient and fast replacement, saving maintenance time and cost.
5. Stable and reliable performance: Optimized circuit design, effectively avoiding signal drift and false detection, ensuring long-term stable operation of the retarder system.

1. Turn off the vehicle power supply completely, wait for the bus equipment to fully power off, and prepare professional installation tools.
2. Locate the installation position of the original retarder speed sensor on the bus retarder assembly, clean the surrounding dust and dirt to avoid foreign matter affecting installation.
3. Unplug the sensor wiring connector gently, then unscrew and remove the old faulty sensor.
4. Align the thread of the new TEJ-SDCGQ sensor with the mounting hole, screw it clockwise and tighten it moderately. Do not over-tighten to prevent thread damage and shell cracking.
5. Insert the waterproof connector of the new sensor harness into the vehicle matching interface firmly to ensure tight and stable docking without looseness.
6. Turn on the vehicle power supply, test the bus retarder function, confirm that the speed signal is transmitted normally, and complete the installation.
1. All installation and disassembly operations must be carried out under complete power-off state to avoid short circuit and electrical component damage.
2. Do not over-tighten the sensor thread during installation. Excessive torque will cause metal thread deformation or sensor shell breakage.
3. Keep the sensor harness and connector away from high-temperature parts and sharp edges of the vehicle to prevent cable aging, melting and scratching damage.
4. It is forbidden to pull, twist or cut the sensor wiring harness forcibly, which will cause signal interruption and functional failure.
5. Regularly check the sensor working state and thread fastening degree during daily use. Replace the sensor in time if there is signal abnormality, wear or damage.
6. Avoid long-term exposure of the sensor to strong corrosive liquid environment to prevent shell corrosion and affect detection accuracy.
7. The product is dedicated to TERCA bus retarder system, do not apply it to inappropriate vehicle models and systems to avoid equipment failure.
