Product Overview

The Pepperl+Fuchs NJ2-V3-N​ is a NAMUR-type intrinsically safe inductive proximity sensor​ designed for hazardous area applications. It features a compact M12 housing with a 2 mm flush-mount sensing range​ and a normally closed (NC) output. Operating on a nominal 8.2 V DC​ supply with very low current switching (≤3 mA), it is specifically engineered for use with isolating barriers or safety relays​ in oil & gas, chemical, and pharmaceutical processes requiring SIL 2​ compliance and ATEX/IECEx​ certification.
