15GHz WR-62 WAVEGUIDE DUPLEXER
A WAVEGUIDE DUPLEXER provides high isolation between the transmitter and receiver ports, preventing the high‑power transmit signal from damaging the sensitive receiver front‑end.
In a circulator‑based WAVEGUIDE DUPLEXER, the device uses a WAVEGUIDE CIRCULATOR with two band‑pass filters attached to two ports—the circulator directs Tx energy to the antenna and Rx energy from the antenna to the receiver.
In a filter‑based WAVEGUIDE DUPLEXER (using a magic T or T‑junction), the Tx and Rx signals are separated by frequency‑selective filters; the Tx filter passes only the Tx band to the antenna, and the Rx filter passes only the Rx band from the antenna.
Connect receiver to Rx port –
Connect the receiver or LNA input to the Rx port of the WAVEGUIDE DUPLEXER.
Match flange types –
A WAVEGUIDE DUPLEXER requires the same flange type (UG, CPR, cover, or choke) on all three ports as the connected waveguide components.
Verify frequency assignments –
A WAVEGUIDE DUPLEXER is factory‑tuned for specific Tx and Rx frequency bands; ensure that your system frequencies match the WAVEGUIDE DUPLEXER specifications.
