This VITI VT-QG202 air pressure alarm sensor is an essential safety component of the bus pneumatic air brake system. It is installed on the air reservoir or pneumatic pipeline of city buses, tourist coaches and public transport buses. The sensor continuously detects the air pressure inside the air tank. Once the air pressure drops below the preset safety threshold, it will transmit an alarm signal to the vehicle dashboard to remind the driver of insufficient braking air pressure, effectively preventing brake failure and ensuring driving safety.

Ⅳ. Installation Steps
1. Cut off the vehicle power supply and release all compressed air inside the air reservoir to avoid air blowback during installation.
2. Confirm the thread specification of the sensor and the installation port on the air reservoir or pneumatic pipeline. Wrap suitable raw material tape around the sensor thread for air sealing.
3. Screw the sensor manually into the installation port first, then tighten it properly with a suitable wrench. Do not apply excessive force to prevent thread damage and shell cracking.
4. Connect the two wiring terminals of the sensor to the corresponding vehicle harness plug according to the vehicle circuit diagram.
5. Restore the vehicle air supply, inflate the air tank, check the connection part for air leakage.
6. Switch on the vehicle power, test the alarm function to confirm the sensor can normally send warning signals under low pressure.
Ⅴ. Notes
1. Do not use an oversized wrench during installation to avoid damaging the sensor metal shell and internal sensing components.
2. Ensure the thread sealing is reliable. Air leakage will lead to inaccurate pressure detection and abnormal alarm.
3. Keep the wiring connector away from sharp metal edges and high-temperature parts of the exhaust system to prevent wire abrasion and aging.
4. Regularly check the sensor and connection pipeline during vehicle maintenance to remove dirt, oil and impurities attached to the surface.
5. If the sensor continuously triggers false alarms or no alarm signal under low pressure, stop using it and replace with a qualified original sensor.
6. Do not disassemble the sealed sensor housing privately; disassembly will cause permanent damage and void the warranty.
7. Store spare sensors in dry and ventilated conditions, avoid long-term exposure to humid, corrosive gas environments.
