Ⅳ. Installation Steps

1. Turn off the engine and wait until the engine fully cools down to prevent scalding.

2. Find the original oil pressure sensor installed on the engine block.

3. Prepare suitable tools to unscrew and remove the old sensor carefully.

4. Check the thread of the new L4700-38231G0 sensor, install sealing gasket if needed.

5. Screw the new sensor manually first, then tighten it with a tool with proper torque. Do not over-tighten to avoid thread damage.

6. Connect the wiring plug firmly to the sensor terminals.

7. Start the engine and check for oil leakage at the installation position.
