Description

Holmium Fluoride (HoF₃): Medical Scintillators, Laser Crystals, IR Fibers, Specialty Alloys

Holmium fluoride is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula HoF₃, appearing as a pale yellow powder with density of 5.936 g/cm³. It melts at 1493°C and boils at 2330°C. Insoluble in water and poorly soluble in hydrochloric, nitric, and sulfuric acids, but soluble in perchloric acid. Exhibits hygroscopic properties in air while remaining relatively stable.

Production Method
