Harbour Portal Crane Description

Single Boom Portal Jib Crane is widely used in ports, shipyard,jetty for load, unload and transfer the general cargo,container,bulk cargo, and to the ship in high efficiency and also could be for ship maintenance purpose. It could be equipped with hook,grab bucket and container spreder beam.

Harbour Portal Crane Features

Single boom portal jib crane, also called “Level luffing portal crane” is mainly used for loading and unloading of general cargo or bulk cargo in port, jetty, river terminal, or ship building in shipyard. Its boom is single-lattice type.This model adopts two types luffing method:Rack and pinion luffing and Wire rope luffing (compensation for multiple pulley blocks). It can carry load luffing and make horizontal displacement. The crane can rotate 360°free with the combined action of lifting and luffing, and it runs smoothly.

The crane could use hook and grab, two purpose. Hook for general cargo load/unloading and grab is used for bulk cargo handling such as Wheat, corn, fertilizer, salt,sand, iron ore etc.The spreader beam is for load/unloading 20ft/40ft/45ft container. The work efficiency is high.
