Harbour Portal Crane Description

Marine single Portal Jib Crane is widely used in ports, wharves, storage yards and other places to complete the loading and unloading of ships and vehicles. Its design, manufacturing and inspection implement DIN, FEM, IEC, AWS, GB and other domestic and foreign advanced standards as well as the latest issued national standards.

The gantry crane is divided into two types, single boom and four connecting rods, according to the structure of the boom. Single boom gantry crane has simple structure, large lifting weight and light weight. The four-link gantry crane adopts the combination boom system to realize the horizontal movement of goods in the amplitude changing process. It has the characteristics of small horizontal drop, stable amplitude changing and low power consumption. The two types of gantry cranes can meet the requirements of general cargo, bulk cargo and container loading and unloading operation, with a wide range of applications, high efficiency, stable operation of the whole machine and so on.

Currently the main product specifications are MQ1025, MQ1030, MQ1625, MQ1630, MQ1635, MQ2525, MQ2530, MQ2535, MQ4025, MQ4030, MQ4035 single boom and four link gantry crane.

Harbour Portal Crane Features

Single boom portal jib crane, also called “Level luffing portal crane” is mainly used for loading and unloading of general cargo or bulk cargo in port, jetty, river terminal, or ship building in shipyard. Its boom is single-lattice type.This model adopts two types luffing method:Rack and pinion luffing and Wire rope luffing (compensation for multiple pulley blocks). It can carry load luffing and make horizontal displacement. The crane can rotate 360°free with the combined action of lifting and luffing, and it runs smoothly.

The crane could use hook and grab, two purpose. Hook for general cargo load/unloading and grab is used for bulk cargo handling such as Wheat, corn, fertilizer, salt,sand, iron ore etc.The spreader beam is for load/unloading 20ft/40ft/45ft container. The work efficiency is high.
