500mm Longitudinal Straight Seam Welding Machine for Oil Storage Tank
ZF-500 automatic longitudinal seam welding machine is specially designed for straight seam welding of cylindrical tanks, pressure vessels, water tanks, palm oil storage barrels and conical tubes with weld length within 500mm.
Adopts cantilever annealing frame + full pneumatic key pressing mechanism, evenly compresses workpiece along weld line to reduce welding deformation. Equipped with water-cooled copper mandrel for back gas protection, realizing single-sided welding & double-sided forming without secondary polishing.
All motion axes driven by servo motor, stable travel speed 0.2-2.2m/min, PLC English touch screen stores 99 groups of welding parameters, one-key recall for mass production. Widely matched stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum alloy, perfectly fit small & medium tank manufacturers, palm oil factories, water heater production lines from Southeast Asia, Middle East, Latin America.

Working Principle
  1. Place the formed cylinder workpiece on the machine mandrel, align weld joint in the center of key pressing area.
  2. Start pneumatic system, key press clamps tightly fix the whole weld length to prevent thermal deformation during welding.
  3. Set welding current, travel speed, arc delay time on PLC touch screen, store parameter group.
  4. Servo carriage drives welding torch moving evenly along 500mm linear rail, back mandrel fills shielding gas for protection.
