The Broadcom Brocade G720 is a Gen 7 (64G) mid‑range enterprise SAN switch delivering 4.096 Tb/s total bandwidth and 460 ns latency (including FEC) for flash and NVMe storage environments. Scaling from 24 to 64 ports (48 SFP+ + 8 SFP‑DD, each DD port supporting 2×64G) via on‑demand Ports on Demand (PoD), it features AES‑GCM‑256 encryption on FC ISL E_Ports and Brocade LZO inline compression. With dual 350W hot‑swap redundant PSUs (fans integrated), support for up to 239 switches per fabric (4,000 certified nodes), and a compact 1U form factor, the G720 is built for secure, high‑density SAN consolidation.
