Product Description
This SATA power adapter connector provides a compact interface between a standard 15-pin SATA female power connector and a PCB edge card terminal. It is designed for applications where a traditional cable assembly is not required or where space inside the chassis is limited.
The connector uses precision copper-alloy contacts with durable plating to maintain low contact resistance and stable electrical performance over repeated mating cycles. The thermoplastic housing offers high mechanical strength and flame-retardant properties, making the connector suitable for demanding server and industrial environments. By converting a cable-style SATA power interface into a board-edge connection, it simplifies power routing and reduces wiring complexity around the PCB.
Customized versions can be produced with different plating, branding, or mechanical features to match specific PCB layouts and system designs.

Applications
Power interface between SATA power harnesses and custom PCBs in servers, storage arrays, and networking equipment.
Integration of HDD/SSD style power connectors onto embedded boards without using separate cables.
Industrial control, test equipment, and data-acquisition systems that require compact, board-mounted SATA power inputs.
OEM and ODM designs where standardized SATA power is needed for proprietary modules or daughter cards.
Precautions
Ensure the PCB footprint and edge thickness are compatible with the connector specification before production.
Verify voltage rails and current requirements so that the total load remains within the connector’s rated current and temperature limits.
Avoid excessive mechanical stress on the adapter during insertion and extraction of SATA power plugs to prevent damage to the PCB solder joints.
Keep the mating area free from dust, flux residue, or contamination that could increase contact resistance or cause intermittent connections.
When used in high-vibration environments, consider additional mechanical support or retention features on the PCB to improve long-term reliability.
