Product Description
This harness combines SATA data and power lines in a compact assembly that links a standard 7+15 pin SATA drive connector to a 22-pin PCB board connector. The flat SATA ribbon maintains controlled impedance for high-speed serial signals, while the separate round power bundle delivers stable 5 V and 12 V to the backplane or power board.
The mounting-ear SATA plug is suitable for fixed drive trays or metal brackets, and the board-side connector mates directly with a dedicated header, eliminating loose internal cabling. Durable thermoplastic housings and copper-alloy terminals ensure long service life in demanding storage and industrial environments. Cable length, wire gauge and connector types can be customized to match specific chassis and PCB layouts.

Applications
Server and NAS backplanes connecting 2.5"/3.5" SATA HDDs or SSDs to a mainboard or RAID controller.
Storage cages and hot-swap modules where drives are mounted on carriers and wired to a central PCB.
DVR/NVR recorders, industrial PCs and automation controllers using board-level SATA interfaces.
OEM storage systems requiring pre-terminated harnesses for fast assembly and consistent wiring quality.
Precautions
Verify the board connector footprint and pinout before production to ensure full compatibility with the PCB header.
Confirm that total drive current is within the rating of the wire gauge, connector and power rail.
Avoid tight bends or twisting of the flat SATA ribbon, especially near the overmolded sections, to protect signal integrity.
Keep data and power harnesses away from strong EMI sources where possible.
Ensure both connectors are fully inserted and locked; inspect periodically for damaged insulation, loose terminals or signs of overheating in high-duty applications.
