Hot and cold impact testing machines are used to test material changes under extremely high and low temperature environments that alternate continuously in the shortest time. These tests examine chemical changes or physical damage caused by thermal expansion and contraction.

The testing chamber is divided into two parts: a high-temperature region and a low-temperature region. Test samples are placed on a moving basket that transfers between regions using unique heat storage and cool storage systems. A cylinder moves the basket up and down between hot and cold regions to complete thermal shock testing.

Applied to test various materials including metal, plastic, rubber, electronics, and other materials, it serves as a basis for product improvement.
