MRT313 MRT511 Thermopile Sensor Forehead Temperature Gun Temperature Probe Non-contact Thermometer Component
1. Core Working Principle:
The MRT313 operates based on the thermopile effect and infrared radiation detection principle:
- It integrates a thermopile sensor chip and a high-transmittance IR filter (optimized for 8–14 μm wavelength, matching the peak infrared radiation wavelength of the human body).
- When the sensor is aimed at the human forehead, the thermopile chip absorbs the infrared radiation emitted by the skin surface. The absorbed energy generates a temperature difference between the hot and cold junctions of the thermopile, which induces a proportional Seebeck voltage.
- The output voltage signal is processed by a signal conditioning circuit (e.g., amplification, calibration) to convert it into a precise body temperature reading.
2. Key Features:
- Human Body Temperature Optimization: The 8–14 μm IR filter is tailored for human body infrared radiation, ensuring high selectivity and eliminating interference from ambient light and other heat sources.
- High Measurement Precision: Under standard measurement conditions (distance: 3–5 cm, ambient temperature: 25°C), the temperature measurement error is ≤ ±0.2°C, meeting the accuracy requirements of medical and consumer-grade thermometers.
- Fast Response Time: T₉₀ response time ≤ 300 ms, enabling rapid temperature reading without long waiting.
- Low Power Consumption: Ultra-low power design with typical operating current ≤ 10 μA, suitable for battery-powered portable devices (e.g., handheld forehead thermometers).
- Compact & Easy Integration: Small SMD package, lightweight structure, and pin-compatible design for direct soldering on PCB boards, ideal for miniaturized temperature measurement equipment.
- Built-in Temperature Compensation: Equipped with an integrated NTC thermistor for real-time ambient temperature monitoring and compensation, ensuring measurement accuracy in different environmental temperatures (10°C–40°C).
- Stable Long-Term Performance: Low drift rate ≤ 0.1°C/year, no need for frequent recalibration during service life.
3.Typical Applications:
- Medical-grade non-contact forehead thermometers
- Consumer-grade infrared body thermometers
- Smart wearable temperature monitoring devices (e.g., smart bands with temperature detection)
- Public health temperature screening equipment (simplified versions)
