Description

Copper Clad Aluminum Conductor Busway System

The OH-DCB-CCA series replaces solid copper with a copper clad aluminum conductor bonded at the billet stage. Conductor weight drops about 40 percent, which reduces hanger and shaft steel loads, while joint faces remain copper and silver plated so contact resistance tracks solid copper designs within 5 percent.
