MN-S4-500 Schneider MicroNet VAV Sensor Setpoint Override Controller Mode
The Schneider Electric MN-S4-500 is the direct replacement for the legacy MN-S4 MicroNet sensor, adding full Controller Mode Functions to the setpoint and override capabilities of the MN-S3-500. In addition to temperature sensing and local setpoint adjustment, the MN-S4-500 enables occupants to select HVAC system operating modes (Heat, Cool, Off, Auto) and fan speed levels (Low, Medium, High, Auto) directly at the zone level — without requiring BMS access.
Note: Ships without sensor cover; DCQC-150-SE required for complete MN-S4 replacement.

Applications
The MN-S4-500 is selected for premium commercial spaces — executive offices, conference rooms, hotel suites, and healthcare rooms — where occupants require granular local control over HVAC mode and fan speed. The controller mode capability eliminates most routine HVAC service calls in occupied spaces. In retrofit projects, it provides a seamless MN-S4 replacement with no controller reprogramming required.
