LSS252331 Schneider ENOcean Wireless Temp Humidity Sensor 868MHz Solar
The Schneider Electric LSS252331 is a wireless room temperature and humidity sensor from the EcoStruxure Building Expert ENOcean platform. Operating on the self-powered ENOcean radio protocol at 868.3 MHz, it harvests energy from ambient light via a solar cell and an integrated backup battery, eliminating the need for power wiring entirely. It wirelessly transmits high-accuracy temperature (0–40°C, ±0.4°C) and humidity (0–100%, ±3%) readings to compatible ENOcean receivers and building automation controllers, enabling truly cable-free room sensing.
Its compact square form factor (84 × 84 × 25 mm) in pure white RAL 9010 ABS housing mounts directly to any flat surface with minimal disruption to existing finishes — ideal for refurbishment projects where chasing cables is not acceptable.
Discontinued September 30, 2023; after-sales service continues until end of life.

Applications
- Widely used in EcoStruxure Building Expert deployments in small commercial buildings across Europe, where the 868 MHz ENOcean band is the dominant wireless building automation frequency
- Ideal for heritage buildings and historic properties where drilling for cable routes is prohibited or prohibitively expensive
- Perfect for open-plan offices undergoing HVAC rezoning, allowing deployment and repositioning as zone boundaries change without any rewiring
- Provides excellent value density for small building owners managing operational budgets with dual temperature and humidity output in a single compact device
- Post-discontinuation demand remains strong for existing EcoStruxure Building Expert installations requiring sensor replacement or expansion
