LSS442510 Schneider ENOcean Wireless CO2 Temp Humidity Sensor 24V
The Schneider Electric LSS442510 is a wireless indoor CO2, temperature, and humidity combined sensor from the EcoStruxure Building Expert ENOcean platform, operating on a 24 V power supply. Unlike the solar/battery-powered LSS252331, the LSS442510 is mains-powered at 24 V, enabling continuous CO2 measurement — which requires significantly more power than passive temperature or humidity sensing.
The CO2 measurement capability is critical for demand-controlled ventilation (DCV) systems compliant with ASHRAE 62.1, EN 13779, and WELL Building Standard v2 requirements, where outdoor air supply rates are modulated based on actual occupancy-derived CO2 levels rather than fixed schedules. The wireless ENOcean transmission eliminates CO2 sensor cabling to the BMS controller, simplifying installation in occupied spaces.
Note: Discontinued September 30, 2023; no direct replacement announced.

Applications
The LSS442510 is a key component in EcoStruxure Building Expert demand-controlled ventilation systems. In open-plan offices and conference rooms, the CO2 sensor data enables the BMS to increase fresh air supply automatically as occupancy rises — reducing both energy waste from over-ventilation and occupant complaints from under-ventilation.
WELL Building Standard v2 and LEED v4.1 IEQ credit requirements for enhanced indoor air quality monitoring increasingly mandate CO2-based DCV, making the LSS442510 a specification-driven purchase. Post-discontinuation, facilities managers with existing EcoStruxure Building Expert networks actively search for LSS442510 stock to replace failed sensors, as no compatible direct replacement has been announced by Schneider Electric.
