PTFE is recognized as the best polymer material for chemical resistance among all known plastics. It features excellent characteristics including corrosion resistance, weathering resistance, dielectric properties, and the lowest coefficient of friction among all known solid materials. Suitable for a wide temperature range from -180°C to +260°C, with a wax-like surface that prevents substances from adhering.
Production methods vary by diameter: Ø4-9mm is paste extruded, Ø10-50mm is ram extruded, and Ø50-300mm is molded. PTFE offers the best electrical properties of all plastics, making it ideal for electrical insulation across various frequencies, seal liners for corrosive media, anti-sticking applications, and lubrication purposes.
