- Overload Friction Clutch
- Upper & Lower Limit Switches
Together they provide comprehensive protection for both the hoist and the load.
① Overload Friction Clutch Protection
The overload friction clutch prevents damage caused by excessive loading.
Working Principle
- When the load exceeds the rated capacity, the friction clutch automatically slips.
- The motor continues rotating while power transmission is interrupted.
- This effectively prevents overload damage to:
- Hoist body
- Load chain
- Transmission components
- Stable performance regardless of environmental conditions.
② Upper & Lower Limit Switch Protection
The limit switch provides travel protection during lifting operations.
Functions
- Automatically disconnects the control circuit when the hook reaches the upper or lower limit.
- Stops the motor immediately.
- Prevents damage caused by over-travel.
- Protects both the hoist body and the load chain.
Note: The limit switch is designed as a safety protection device and should not be used as the normal stopping method during operation.
③ Magnetic Brake System
The magnetic brake provides immediate braking once power is removed.
