The B&R 8BVI0220HWD0.000-1 is an ACOPOSmulti dual-axis inverter module containing two independent power inverters in one wall-mounted unit. Each motor connection supports 16 kW continuous motor power, 22 Aeff continuous current and 55 Aeff peak current.
The dual-axis construction can reduce the cabinet space required for machines with paired or coordinated servo axes. It is particularly different from the similarly named 8BVI0220HWS0.000-1, which is a single-axis module.

The module has two motor connections, two temperature-sensor connections and two holding-brake outputs. Although both axes are housed in one module, motor sizing and drive parameters must be checked independently for each connected axis.
The module supports two ACOPOSmulti plug-in-module slots. The installed encoder, communication or safety modules must be identified before replacement because the base inverter material number alone does not describe the complete machine configuration.
