The B&R 8BVI0440HWS0.000-1 is a high-current single-axis inverter module for the ACOPOSmulti drive platform. It provides one motor output with 32 kW continuous motor power, 44 Aeff continuous current and 88 Aeff peak current.

This wall-mounted module is intended for higher-output servo axes used in demanding industrial motion systems. It incorporates connections for the motor holding brake and temperature sensor and provides two slots for ACOPOSmulti plug-in modules.

Engineering Considerations

The rated current applies under the operating conditions defined by the manufacturer. Available continuous current may require derating according to switching frequency, ambient temperature and installation elevation. Cabinet ventilation and installation clearances must therefore be checked during both new-system design and replacement work.

The motor, encoder interface, plug-in modules and controller project must remain compatible with the replacement inverter. A 44 A current designation alone is not sufficient to confirm interchangeability with other ACOPOSmulti variants.
