Gloss laminating film is manufactured using multi extrusion coating lines and consists of two primary layers. The base layer is a plastic film, typically BOPP or PET, while the top layer features EVA adhesive glue. This product is also referred to as dry, hot, or heat laminating film.
Printing houses commonly use BOPP gloss laminating film rolls for commercial and educational printing applications. The transparent film lamination, available in bright/shine/glossy or matte/dull finishes, is heated as a protective layer on paper covers. This process is often called paper lamination film, where EVA adhesive glue is heated into paper substrates.
