Gloss laminating film is available in two main compositions: thermal/hot/dry gloss laminating film and cold/wet gloss laminating film. It can also be classified by base film material: BOPP gloss laminating film and PET gloss laminating film.
High gloss laminating film imparts an excellent glossy finish to substrates after lamination. It protects substrates from water and moisture while enhancing the tactile experience.
Both glossy and matt laminating films are compatible with roll laminator machines.

Gloss laminating film is produced by multi extrusion coating lines. It consists of two layers: a plastic film (primarily BOPP or PET film) and an adhesive glue layer of EVA.
Gloss laminating film is also referred to as dry, hot, or heat laminating film.
Printing houses typically use BOPP gloss laminating film rolls for commercial and school printing applications. It can also be used for graphic arts large format projects.
The transparent film lamination, available in bright/shine/glossy or matte/dull finishes, is heated to provide protection on paper covers. Sometimes referred to as paper lamination film, it uses heating EVA adhesive glue to bond with paper substrates.
