1.1 Vacuum Homogenization System
- Dual-Rotor Stator Shear Head: Equipped with a high-precision toothed rotor and stator (gap adjustable within 0.1-0.5mm), which rotates at a speed of 3,000-12,000 rpm. It generates strong mechanical shear force, centrifugal force, and cavitation effect to break down oil-phase and water-phase material droplets into micro-sized particles (usually ≤5μm), ensuring full emulsification and avoiding oil-water separation in the final ointment.
- Closed Vacuum Chamber: The mixing tank is designed as a closed vacuum structure (vacuum degree up to -0.095MPa), which can remove air bubbles generated during the mixing process. This prevents oxidation of active ingredients (such as plant extracts, vitamins) in the ointment, reduces product foaming, and ensures a smooth, bubble-free texture.
1.2 Steam Heating System
- Dual-Layer Jacket Tank Body: The inner tank (material contact part) is made of 316L stainless steel (compliant with cosmetic-grade hygiene standards), and the outer layer is a steam jacket. High-temperature steam (controllable temperature range: 50-120℃) circulates in the jacket to heat the materials evenly.
- Precision Temperature Control: Equipped with a PT100 temperature sensor and an automatic steam regulating valve, the temperature control accuracy is ±1℃. It can meet the different heating needs of various ointment formulas (e.g., low-temperature heating for heat-sensitive ingredients, high-temperature sterilization for certain functional ointments).
1.3 Scraping Blade Mixing System
- Multi-Position Scraping Blades: 3-4 PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) scraping blades are installed on the mixing shaft, which fit closely to the inner wall of the tank (gap ≤0.5mm). They rotate at a low speed (10-60 rpm) to scrape off materials adhering to the tank wall, ensuring no dead corners in mixing and avoiding local overheating or caking caused by material residue.
- Dual-Direction Mixing: The scraping blades can rotate clockwise and counterclockwise, and cooperate with the high-speed homogenization system to form a three-dimensional mixing effect. This is particularly suitable for high-viscosity ointment materials (viscosity up to 100,000 cP), ensuring uniform dispersion of solid powder ingredients (such as mineral powders, active agent particles) in the base material.
1.4 Auxiliary Components
- Material Inlet/Outlet: Equipped with a sanitary-level quick-connect inlet (for adding oil-phase, water-phase, and powder materials) and a bottom discharge valve (with a filter screen to prevent impurity discharge), which is easy to disassemble and clean.
- Control Panel: Adopts a touch-screen PLC control system, which can set and display parameters such as temperature, vacuum degree, homogenization speed, and mixing time. It supports one-key start/stop and automatic operation of the production process, and can store 100+ sets of formula parameters for quick switching between different products.

Working Principle
The production process of ointment using this equipment follows a standardized workflow, ensuring efficiency and product stability:
- Material Preparation: Add pre-processed oil-phase materials (e.g., plant oils, waxes) and water-phase materials (e.g., glycerin, deionized water) into the tank through the respective inlets. For solid powder materials, use the vacuum feeding port to avoid dust pollution.
- Heating & Pre-Mixing: Turn on the steam heating system to heat the materials to the set temperature (e.g., 70-80℃ for wax melting). At the same time, start the scraping blade mixing system to stir the materials at a low speed, ensuring preliminary mixing and uniform heating.
- Vacuum Homogenization: When the materials reach the required temperature, close the tank cover, turn on the vacuum system to extract air from the tank, and start the homogenization shear head. The high-speed rotating rotor and stator shear the materials into a fine emulsion, while the scraping blades continue to mix to ensure the emulsion is uniform throughout the tank.
- Cooling & Post-Processing (Optional): After homogenization, switch the steam jacket to cooling water circulation (if the formula requires) to cool the ointment to room temperature. During the cooling process, the scraping blades maintain low-speed rotation to prevent the ointment from solidifying unevenly.
- Discharge & Cleaning: After the ointment reaches the required consistency, turn off the vacuum system, open the bottom discharge valve to collect the product, and then use clean water or a neutral cleaning agent to clean the tank and components (the tank can be heated and cleaned with steam if necessary).
