Test Method Definitions
Thermal Deformation Temperature Test: Determines the temperature at which a standard specimen deflects by a specified amount under bending load, achieving designated nominal surface stress in compliance with international standards. Vicat Softening Point Temperature Test: Measures the temperature at which a standard indenter penetrates 1 mm into the specimen surface under defined loading. Used to differentiate softening characteristics across various thermoplastic materials.
