Summary:
BS EN 727 automatic lifting PP/PE/PVC Vicat softening temperature (VST) tester measures thermal deformation and Vicat softening temps for plastics, rubber, nylon, cables, etc. Featuring high-quality, reliable sensors and safety components, its sample frame auto-lifts. Equipped with a powerful test software suite, it’s specialized for thermal deformation and Vicat softening point testing.

Principle:
When a standard indenting tip under a constant force of (50 ± 1) N penetrates 1 mm into the surface of a test piece (cut from pipe/fitting walls), the temperature is determined as the temperature rises uniformly.

Instrument characteristics:

  1. The testing machine features easy operation, convenient use, stable performance, and high accuracy.
  2. Equipped with a sample rack lifting function, it raises/lowers the rack at test start/end.
  3. It monitors testing temperature and deformation in real time.
