Product Overview
This advanced testing apparatus determines thermal deformation temperature and Vicat softening point of plastic materials. During testing, specimens are fixed under constant applied load and immersed in a thermostatic liquid bath while temperature increases at standardized uniform rates. Thermal Deformation Test
Identifies the temperature at which a standard test specimen under continuous bending stress reaches a predefined deflection value corresponding to nominal surface stress levels. This protocol is critical for plastic manufacturing quality management and material performance R&D.
Vicat Test
Quantifies the temperature at which a standard indenter penetrates 1mm into the specimen surface under specified applied load. This establishes the softening performance comparison system for different thermoplastic raw materials.
