Product Overview
This advanced testing apparatus determines thermal deformation temperature and Vicat softening point of plastic materials. During testing, specimens are fixed under constant applied load and immersed in a thermostatic liquid bath while temperature increases at standardized uniform rates. This testing is essential for product performance characterization, manufacturing quality control, and compliance evaluation.
Thermal Deformation Test
Identifies the temperature at which a standard test specimen under continuous bending stress reaches a predefined deflection value corresponding to nominal surface stress levels. This protocol is critical for plastic manufacturing quality management and material performance R&D.
Vicat Test
Quantifies the temperature at which a standard indenter penetrates 1mm into the specimen surface under specified applied load. This establishes the softening performance comparison system for different thermoplastic raw materials.
