The Heavy-Load KT Roller Bed is engineered specifically for these massive tonnage applications. By swapping out standard wheels for solid forged 45# steel and heavily reinforcing the drive and braking systems, this machine ensures your heaviest workpieces rotate smoothly, safely, and without damaging the equipment.
Core Engineering & Heavy-Duty Advantages
- Forged 45# Steel Rollers: Instead of rubber or PU, the rollers are forged from premium 45# carbon steel. This provides exceptional pressure capacity and severe abrasive resistance, preventing wheel deformation under massive steel tanks.
- Anti-Eccentric Dual Braking System: Heavy tanks are rarely perfectly balanced. To safely handle off-center (eccentric) loads, the motor is equipped with an active mechanical brake, and the reducer features a natural self-locking function. This double-insurance absolutely prevents the workpiece from dangerously rolling backwards when the machine stops.
- Quick Diameter Adjustment: The heavy-duty base frame uses a pre-drilled bolt-hole system. Your operators can quickly unbolt and adjust the distance between the two roller centers to perfectly cradle different massive workpiece diameters.
- Advanced VFD Drive & Cooling: Powered by a dedicated frequency motor with an independent cooling fan, paired with our specially designed high-efficiency reducer. It delivers a wide, stepless speed range with a speed variance of less than 2%, keeping the weld pool perfectly consistent even during long shifts.
- Safe Current Grounding: Heavy SAW welding requires massive amperage. A built-in conductive grounding device safely channels the heavy welding currents away, completely protecting the roller bearings and internal mechanics from electrical arc damage.
- Rigid Beam-Welded Frame: The entire base is constructed from a heavy beam-welded structure, giving it the ultimate robust working strength to resist twisting or flexing under extreme payloads.
- Automation Ready: The control cabinet comes with reserved linkage interfaces, allowing you to instantly sync the roller bed's rotation with an automated welding manipulator (Column and Boom) for a complete turnkey welding center.
