SMLSCO Casting Fitting Series
SMLSCO provides comprehensive stainless steel pipe fitting solutions to meet diverse industrial needs. Our product portfolio is mainly divided into three categories: Butt Weld Fitings for building high integrity pipelines; Forged fittings for high-pressure working conditions; And this product provides a cost-effective solution for casting fittings for general low-pressure threaded systems. Our complete product line makes us your one-stop pipeline connector partner.
Introduction to Casting Equal Tee
Casting Equal Tee is a T-shaped pipe fitting with three equally sized ports. Its core function is to create a 90 ° branch on the main pipeline while maintaining the same diameter of the main and branch pipelines. This design is highly suitable for creating simple fluid distribution manifolds or branch flow paths in low-pressure systems, ensuring even distribution of flow.
Material Properties of CF8M/316
The use of CF8M/316 stainless steel material provides excellent corrosion resistance protection for the pipeline system. Compared to ordinary 304 material, 316 can more effectively resist the corrosion of chlorides and various industrial chemical media due to the addition of molybdenum element. For low-pressure systems with more complex operating environments or higher requirements for service life, choosing 316 material fittings means choosing lower long-term maintenance costs and higher operational safety.
SMLSCO Casting Fitting Manufacturing Process
Our cast pipe fittings are produced using precision casting (silica sol) technology to achieve excellent dimensional accuracy and surface smoothness. The process first involves making wax molds, wrapping multiple layers of refractory materials on the surface of the wax mold to form a ceramic shell, and then heating the wax mold to melt and flow out. Next, pour the melted stainless steel into the hollow shell. After the molten steel cools and solidifies, the shell can be crushed to obtain high-precision pipe blanks, which are then processed through machining, tapping, and other processes to become the final product.
Application of Casting Tee
Class 150 316 stainless steel cast tees are widely used in low-pressure systems that require higher corrosion resistance. Commonly used in auxiliary pipelines for food and beverage, ship pipelines, water treatment facilities, and mild chemical treatment fields. The DN50 (2-inch) size is suitable for creating branch connections for main pipelines, while BSP threads provide a convenient and reliable installation method for non welded pipelines in these environments.
