SMLSCO Casting Fitting Series
SMLSCO provides comprehensive stainless steel pipe fitting solutions to meet diverse industrial needs. Our product portfolio is mainly divided into three categories: Butt Weld Fitings for building high integrity pipelines; Forged fittings for high-pressure working conditions; And this product provides a cost-effective solution for casting fittings for general low-pressure threaded systems. Our complete product line makes us your one-stop pipeline connector partner.
SMLSCO Casting Fitting Series
SMLSCO offers a complete range of cast stainless steel fittings to meet the needs of medium and low pressure applications. Our product line includes elbows and tees for changing direction, pipe clamps and unions for straight connections, pipe plugs and caps for pipe sealing, and pipe joints (Nipples) for connecting two internally threaded ports. The complete product portfolio provides a one-stop, cost-effective procurement solution for your pipeline projects in the general and plumbing fields.
What is Casting Nipple?
A nipple is a short pipe with external threads machined at both ends or one end, mainly used to connect two internally threaded fittings, valves, or equipment. The most common type is the regular pipe joint (Barrel Nipple) with threads on both ends. In addition, for ease of installation using a wrench, there is also a hex nipple with a hexagonal cross-section in the middle. Pipe joints are essential basic components for constructing complex threaded piping systems.
Introduction to Pressure Rating
Class 150, It is also often labeled as 150 #, which is the standard pressure rating for this series of stainless steel fittings. This level is designed specifically for low-pressure application scenarios, such as in water, air, oil, gas, and drainage systems, where the working pressure is typically at a medium to low level. The Class 150 provides a safe and reliable performance standard for general industrial and commercial pipelines, making it a highly cost-effective solution for non critical pipelines.
Material Properties of 304/CF8
304 stainless steel is the most widely used material for manufacturing universal pipe joints and fittings. It has good corrosion resistance in most daily environments such as water and air, and can effectively prevent rusting. Its excellent mechanical strength and high cost-effectiveness make it an ideal balance choice, ensuring the durability and safety of pipeline connections without incurring excessive material costs, making it very suitable for use in general industrial and commercial water supply and drainage systems.
