The Three Phase Decanter Centrifuge for Edible Refined Oil is designed for continuous separation of oil, water, and solid impurities during edible oil processing.
It is suitable for vegetable oil purification, oil sludge treatment, crude oil clarification, and oil recovery applications. The centrifuge uses high centrifugal force to separate three phases efficiently, recovering valuable oil while removing water and solid particles.
In edible oil production, the main challenges include fine solid impurities, emulsified oil-water mixtures, unstable feed conditions, and strict food-grade hygiene requirements.
Oil streams may contain fine particles, gums, and suspended solids that are difficult to remove by conventional methods.
During processing, oil and water can form stable emulsions, reducing separation efficiency.
Residual oil trapped in sludge or wastewater can reduce product recovery and increase production costs.
Different oil types and processing stages create changes in viscosity, solid content, and separation requirements.
Edible oil production requires clean equipment surfaces and suitable contact materials to avoid contamination.
Large-scale oil plants need reliable equipment for uninterrupted separation and stable output.
Edible Oil Feed
→ Pretreatment
→ Three Phase Decanter Centrifuge
→ Refined Oil + Water Phase + Solid Residue
Recovered Oil → Further Refining / Storage
Water Phase → Treatment / Recycling
Solid Residue → Disposal / Further Processing
Edible oil mixture containing oil, water, and solids enters the rotating bowl through the feed system.
Under centrifugal force, solids move to the bowl wall, water forms the middle layer, and oil remains in the inner liquid zone.
The scroll continuously transports separated solids toward the discharge end.
Separated oil and water leave through independent liquid discharge outlets.
Oil recovery, water separation, and solids discharge are completed continuously.
