The Three Phase Decanter Centrifuge for Drilling Waste Separation is designed to separate oil, water, and solid particles from drilling waste and oil-based mud.
During drilling operations, waste streams often contain a mixture of drilling fluid, rock cuttings, oil phase, and fine solids. The three-phase decanter centrifuge uses centrifugal force to continuously separate these components, recover valuable liquid phases, and reduce waste disposal costs.
It is suitable for oilfield drilling waste management, mud recovery, cuttings treatment, and closed-loop drilling systems.
Drilling waste usually contains oil, water, drilling chemicals, and solid particles with different densities, requiring efficient multi-phase separation.
Clay and ultra-fine drilling solids are difficult to remove by conventional equipment and can affect drilling fluid performance.
Oil-based drilling waste contains recoverable oil that needs to be separated and reused to reduce waste costs.
Rock cuttings and mineral particles can cause wear on internal components during continuous operation.
Oilfield applications require reliable equipment with stable performance under changing feed conditions.
Drilling Waste
→ Feed Tank
→ Chemical Conditioning (Optional)
→ Three Phase Decanter Centrifuge
→ Recovered Oil + Treated Water + Dewatered Solids
Recovered Oil → Reuse in Drilling System
Separated Water → Treatment / Recycling
Dewatered Solids → Disposal / Further Processing
Peony provides customized solutions based on:
Mixed drilling waste containing oil, water, and solids enters the rotating bowl through a controlled feeding system.
Under centrifugal force, high-density solid particles move toward the bowl wall and form a concentrated solids layer.
The lighter oil phase moves toward the center area while water remains as the middle liquid phase.
The scroll continuously transports separated solids toward the discharge end.
Separated oil, water, and solids are discharged separately for recovery or further treatment.
