TLX is a DK 2.45 copper-clad laminate, well-suited for low layer-count microwave designs.

Featuring PTFE fiberglass construction, TLX laminates are an excellent choice for radar systems, mobile communications, microwave test equipment, microwave transmission devices, and RF components.

TLX has become a reliable workhorse within the RF and microwave substrate industry. Its fiberglass reinforcement delivers robust mechanical stability for substrates operating in extreme environments, including:

-Creep resistance for PWBs bolted to enclosures exposed to high vibration during space launch

-High-temperature endurance in engine modules

-Radiation resistance for space applications (refer to NASA’s website for low-outgassing material details)

-Harsh marine environment resistance for naval shipboard antennas

-Broad temperature-range stability for altimeter substrates during flight
