Industrial Sensor Cables and Connector Assemblies
A sensor is only as trustworthy as the cable that carries its signal. Our industrial sensor cables and connector assemblies are engineered to preserve signal integrity in factory-floor conditions - through EMI, vibration, oil, moisture and continuous motion - so your automation system reads accurate data every cycle.
Product Applications
- Proximity, inductive and photoelectric sensor connections
- Encoder and resolver feedback cables for servo and motion control
- Temperature, pressure and level transmitter interconnects
- Vision system and safety light curtain cabling
- Process automation field wiring to controllers and IO blocks
- Robotic end-of-arm tool sensor breakout assemblies
Customizable Parameters
Overall length and exact connector-to-connector layout, wire gauge and conductor stranding, number of cores, twisted-pair construction, shielding type, jacket material and color, connector coding and orientation, overmold shape and strain relief, plus labeling, packaging and documentation to match your BOM and assembly process.
Interface and Connector Types
- M8 and M12 connectors - the de facto standard for industrial sensors - in A, B, D and X coding
- M16 and M23 circular connectors for higher pin-count and power-over-signal needs
- D-sub, RJ45 and hybrid custom interfaces
- Straight, angled and Y-split versions; custom connectors developed from your drawings
Wire and Jacket Materials
- Conductors: tinned copper from AWG 16 to AWG 32 with fine stranding for flexibility
- Jackets: PVC, PUR, TPE and silicone matched to your environment
- PUR jackets resist cutting, oil and coolant on machine tools
- Shielded and twisted-pair constructions protect low-level analog and encoder signals
Protection Rating
Assemblies are sealed to IP67 or IP68 with overmolded connector joints, so dust, coolant splash, washdown water and even temporary immersion cannot reach the terminations. Sealing integrity is verified by ingress testing on representative samples from every production batch.
Operating Temperature
Standard constructions cover -40°C to +125°C. Cold-room, outdoor winter and high-heat variants are available by selecting the appropriate jacket and insulation materials for your application.
Bending and Tensile Performance
- Drag-chain rated sensor cables survive millions of flex cycles on moving machine axes
- Strain relief and tensile members support pulls up to 150N and beyond
- Optimized bend radius keeps signals stable in tight robotic routing
Applicable Industries
Factory automation, robotics, machine tools, packaging lines, automotive production, food and beverage processing, semiconductor equipment, logistics and material handling, marine and outdoor machinery - sensor cabling is tailored to each industry's environment, codes and reliability expectations.
Test Standards
- IP67/IP68 ingress protection per IEC 60529
- 100% continuity, insulation resistance and hi-pot testing
- Flex endurance, pull and torque testing per applicable UL and IEC standards
- UL, CE and RoHS compliant materials; project-specific standards supported
