Condensation spray granulator, also known as micro-attenuation technology, is a technique that uses natural or synthetic high-molecular film-forming materials (capsules) to encapsulate liquid or solid drugs (fillers) into tiny colloids with diameters ranging from 1 to 5000 μm (typically 5 to 250 μm).

Microencapsulation finds broad applications in pharmacy, food, pesticides, feed, cosmetics, dyestuffs, adhesives and carbon paper sectors. The fabrication process of microcapsules is termed microencapsulation. Microencapsulation endows pharmaceutical products with various superior properties.
