Solutions, emulsions, suspensions and slurries are atomized into fine droplets in hot air. While falling through the drying chamber, the droplets are fully dewatered and turned into powder or granules.
Hot air enters the drying tower from the top, and liquid materials are pumped upward via screw or peristaltic pumps. After atomization, the fine droplets contact high-temperature air and dry instantly. Finished products are then discharged from the tower bottom or cyclone separator as configured.
Our powder separation and recovery solutions include standard/combined cyclones, bag filters, and composite systems with cyclones, bag filters and wet scrubbers. All equipment is selected to match material properties and client demands.
The spray dryer can also be equipped with peripheral facilities like secondary drying & cooling systems, batching systems, powder screening units and dehumidifiers, including ZLG vibrating fluidized beds and pneumatic conveyors.
