Product Characteristics Description
Tert-butylphenol formaldehyde resin SR2402 is mainly used in the preparation of adhesives, especially neoprene adhesives, to improve the heat resistance and bonding strength of the adhesive. It can also be used in the production of coatings, anti-rust paints, inks, and tapes. SR2402 is also a vulcanizing agent for butyl rubber, chlorinated butyl rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, diene rubber, ethylene-propylene rubber, etc., especially for the vulcanization of butyl rubber. After vulcanization, the rubber has excellent properties such as low deformation, good heat resistance, high tensile strength, and low elongation.
Usage
 When used as a vulcanizing agent, the recommended dosage is 5-10 parts, used in conjunction with an activator such as metal chloride or halogen-containing polymer.
