Product Characteristics Description
SR205, as a high-efficiency reinforcing resin, when used in conjunction with a methylene donor, can improve the hardness, tear strength, abrasion resistance, tensile strength, and modulus of the rubber compound through thermal vulcanization. To obtain the best reinforcing effect, it is necessary to add 10% hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) relative to the amount of SR205 reinforcing resin as a crosslinking agent. HMT can also be replaced by other methylene donors, such as hexamethoxymethylmelamine (HMMM). To prevent scorching during the mixing process, the reinforcing resin SR205 should be added in the early stage of mixing to exert its plasticizing effect, while the methylene donor should be added in the later stage of mixing together with the accelerator and sulfur. SR205 is granular in appearance, not easily dusty, and convenient for weighing.
Application Areas
Mainly used in the bead area of ​​tires, also used in shoe soles and car window seals.
Usage
 It is recommended to add SR205 during the masterbatch mixing stage to ensure sufficient dispersion in the rubber compound and to exert its softening or plasticizing effect.
 Based on 100 parts by weight of rubber, the recommended dosage is 5-15 parts.
