Application Scenarios
- Electronics Manufacturing: Protective layer for electronic components, circuit boards, and sensitive devices during assembly, testing, or transportation. Black color provides light-blocking properties.
- Cleanroom Environments: Barrier to prevent static charges from interfering with sensitive manufacturing processes or contaminating cleanroom surfaces.
- Automotive Components: Protective layer for interior trims, panels, and electronic modules with aesthetically pleasing appearance and reduced glare.
- Light-Sensitive Materials: Light-blocking layer for photographic films, optical equipment, and sensitive materials requiring protection from ambient light.
- Security and Confidentiality: Privacy film for electronic displays, computer screens, and confidential documents with restricted viewing angles.
Key Features
PET anti-static coated film prevents the buildup of static electricity through conductive coating on one or both sides, allowing charges to dissipate. This improves handling, processing, and protection of sensitive components. Available in transparent, translucent, pink, blue, and yellow colors for identification and quality control purposes.
Manufacturing Process
The coating process involves unwinding PET film from its original roll and passing it through a coating applicator using gravure, reverse gravure, Mayer rod, or air knife methods. After coating with antistatic fluid, the film passes through a drying oven to remove solvents before being rewound. Process control ensures consistent coating thickness and product quality.
