Description

Designed for extreme oil environments such as deep‑fried snacks, fatty meats, and industrial food processing, this 45 g/m² greaseproof paper 10 oil resistance (≥240 minutes without penetration). The enhanced fluorine‑free multilayer coating (chitosan‑sodium alginate) provides a dense barrier while remaining fully biodegradable. Its high basis weight ensures tear resistance for heavy food items.

Process Introduction

Base paper with beating degree 82‑85°SR. After forming and pressing, the web is pre‑dried. A dual‑layer coating is applied: first chitosan (2.0 g/m²), then sodium alginate (1.5 g/m²) via curtain coater. Each layer is crosslinked at 120‑140°C. Final hard calendering ensures a smooth, pinhole‑free surface. The paper passes the 60℃ olive oil immersion test (30 min) with no penetration.
