Description

This 30 g/m² greaseproof paper achieves Kit 6‑7 oil resistance, suitable for a wide range of fast‑food applications including hamburgers, fried chicken, and french fries, withstanding oil penetration for up to 120 minutes. It is manufactured with a fluorine‑free bio‑based coating (modified starch + chitosan), balancing oil resistance and environmental safety.

Process Introduction

Base paper made from 70% softwood + 30% hardwood pulp, beaten to 76‑78°SR. The web is formed, pressed, pre‑dried, and soft calendered. A fluorine‑free bio‑coating (modified starch + chitosan, solid content 10‑20%, viscosity 50‑200 mPa·s) is applied via metering rod or blade coating at 1.5‑2.5 g/m² per side. Post‑drying at 80‑120°C crosslinks the coating. Final hard calendering at 70‑90°C achieves smoothness ≥400s.
