Description

This 70 g/㎡ single‑side glossy white kraft paper is a premium base for aluminum foil lamination, metallization, and extrusion coating. The glossy surface (smoothness 117.5s) provides excellent anchorage for vacuum metallization. High tightness (0.85 g/cm³) prevents coating penetration.

Process Introduction

Very high basis weight requires multiple press sections. Single‑side calendering with polished steel roll at 200‑250 kN/m linear pressure. Back side remains rough for adhesive bonding. Dried to exactly 5.5% moisture to avoid curl after lamination.
