IAI PCON-C-42PI-CC-0-0 is a single-axis position controller designed for use with a matching IAI RoboCylinder electric actuator. This controller combines actuator positioning functions with a CC-Link field network interface, allowing movement commands, position data, operating status and alarm information to be exchanged with an upper-level PLC or automation system.

The PCON-C-42PI-CC-0-0 is suitable for automated assembly equipment, component transfer systems, packaging machinery, inspection stations, production fixtures and material-handling mechanisms. The CC-Link connection enables a compatible PLC to issue movement commands and receive position completion, operating status and alarm information through the industrial network.

Maintenance and Replacement Notes

PCON-C is a legacy controller family. The complete controller model and connected actuator configuration must be checked before replacement. Confirm the actuator nameplate, 42P motor configuration, encoder type, CC-Link station settings, communication speed, PLC data mapping, firmware version, connector arrangement and stored parameter data. A newer PCON-CB family controller must not be treated as a direct replacement without checking the actuator, network configuration and machine wiring.
