IAI PCON-CA-42PWAI-NP-2-0 is a single-axis position controller developed for compatible IAI RoboCylinder electric actuators. It manages actuator positioning, acceleration, deceleration, movement commands, position completion signals and alarm monitoring in automated machinery. The PCON-CA-42PWAI-NP-2-0 can be used in automated assembly stations, component transfer equipment, packaging machinery, inspection systems, loading mechanisms and other applications using a compatible IAI RoboCylinder actuator. The controller receives commands from a PLC or machine control system and controls the connected actuator according to stored position data and programmed motion parameters.

Maintenance and Replacement Notes

PCON controllers are configured for specific actuator motor and feedback combinations. Before replacing an existing controller, verify the complete controller model, actuator model, motor code, encoder configuration, NPN I/O logic, cable arrangement and parameter data. The connected actuator model printed on the controller label should correspond to the actuator installed on the machine. Parameter backup is recommended before removing the original unit.
