Ultrasonic Thickness Meter TM-8819-T3
Advanced ultrasonic measurement device designed to eliminate coating thickness interference for accurate substrate measurements.
Applications
Used for measuring thickness and corrosion of pressure vessels, chemical equipment, boilers, oil storage tanks, and various industrial components. Essential for industries including petroleum, shipbuilding, power generation, and machine manufacturing.
Compatible materials: Steel, Cast iron, Aluminum, Red copper, Brass, Zinc, Quartz glass, Polyethylene, PVC, Gray cast iron, Nodular cast iron.
Measurement Principle
The digital ultrasonic thickness gauge determines material thickness by precisely measuring the time required for ultrasonic pulses to travel through the material, reflect from the back surface, and return to the transducer. The two-way transit time is calculated and multiplied by the material's sound velocity for accurate thickness determination.
