79G 80G 81G Road Gate Anti-Smash License Plate Identification Millimeter Wave Radar Detector Sensor Parking System
An 80GHz millimeter-wave radar sensor for vehicle barrier gates provides high-precision, non-contact detection (0.3-6m range) for anti-smashing and automatic gate lifting. Operating in the 79-81GHz range, these sensors feature IP66 protection, ±45° horizontal beam width, and work well in various weather conditions.
Important Usage Precautions
Please read carefully before installation and use:
- In logistics park trailer scenarios, install one radar above and below to ensure complete vehicle detection coverage and eliminate blind spots
- Radar installation should not be level with the pole. For cars: install 65cm-75cm from radar bottom to driving surface. For trailers: install 100cm-110cm from radar bottom to driving surface
- If radar's front is obstructed by license plate recognition systems or other objects, install on a separate pole to avoid interference
- Not recommended for areas with extensive ground covers or large metal plates. Small area covers or tracks may be used (consult manufacturer's technical staff)
- Not recommended for sharp turn scenarios or mixed pedestrian/vehicle roads as pedestrians can interfere with detection
- In simultaneous vehicle entry/exit scenarios, each vehicle requires a dedicated pole; avoid following vehicles or lingering under the arm
- For advertisement arms, barrier arms, or fold arms, optimal installation faces incoming vehicle direction. If not possible, use dedicated poles per vehicle and avoid lingering under arm
- Do not power radar using 12V output from barrier gate motherboard; requires independent 12V 1A~2A power supply
Installation Instructions
The radar indicator light should be facing upward and installed vertically on the barrier box.
- Installation height for cars: 65cm-75cm from radar bottom to ground
- Installation height for large vehicles: 100cm-110cm from radar bottom to ground
- Distance between radar and barrier arm: 20cm
