Cavitation Air Flotation (CAF) is a mechanical aeration flotation device. It generates microbubbles via negative pressure cavitation and shear force from high-speed rotating impellers. It requires no air compressor, dissolved air tank or high-pressure pump. Featuring simple structure, low energy consumption and anti-clogging performance, it is widely used for pretreatment of oily and high-suspended solid wastewater.

1. Cavitation air suction: The impeller rotates at high speed to form local vacuum underwater and inhale air automatically.
2. Bubble shearing: Inhaled air is cut into microbubbles of 30-100μm and dispersed evenly in sewage.
3. Adsorption and flotation: Bubbles adhere to suspended solids, oil grease, colloids and fibers to form low-density flocs floating upward.
4. Slag scraping and water discharge: Floating scum is removed by scraper, and purified water drains out from the bottom.
