Designed for the rigors of modern trenchless technology, our 73mm/89mm Forged One-Piece Cold-Drawn HDD Drill Pipes​ deliver uncompromising strength, precision, and durability for horizontal directional drilling (HDD) applications. Engineered to excel in complex underground environments—from urban utility installation to long-distance pipeline routing—these pipes are the backbone of efficient, low-disruption drilling operations.
Crafted from high-strength alloy steel​ (e.g., 42CrMo or equivalent), the drill pipes undergo a forged one-piece manufacturing process​ to eliminate weld seams, a critical weakness in multi-piece designs. This seamless structure, combined with cold-drawing technology, ensures exceptional dimensional accuracy (outer diameter tolerance ±0.1mm, straightness ≤0.3mm/m) and a smooth inner surface (Ra ≤1.6μm), reducing friction and torque loss during drilling. The cold-drawing process also refines the steel’s grain structure, enhancing tensile strength (≥1100 MPa) and yield strength (≥950 MPa) to withstand extreme axial loads, torsional stress, and abrasive geological conditions (e.g., hard rock, gravel, or clay).
